Tenant Survey
To gauge and understand tenants’ satisfaction and concerns, NRESC conducts tenant satisfaction surveys either in the tenant’s office during the QMA or a web-based survey tool.
Tenant Surveys (In-person)
NRESC conducts standard tenant satisfaction surveys in the tenant’s office during the QMA to gauge and understand tenants’ satisfaction and concerns.
During the in-person survey, NRESC can obtain the respondents’ ratings for the survey questions and insight into the respondents’ rationale. The benefits of the in-person interview are that tenants will speak more candidly and can uncover additional tenancy issues, a higher response rate can be achieved, and tenants appreciate that the ownership/manager invests time and money to solicit their opinions.
With this information, NRESC is better able to guide the client and management team.
NRESC works with the client and property management team to select tenants for the survey to ensure adequate cross-section and key tenants are selected. If selected tenants are unavailable during the QMA, NRES will conduct a telephone interview or send a web-based survey.
Standard surveys are available for office, retail, and industrial properties.
Survey results provide:
- National ranking and analysis of questions on Property Services, Staff, Amenities, Aesthetics, Image, Future Space Requirements, Occupancy Value, and Prospect Recommendation
- Top Tenancy Expectations
- Top Physical Environmental Attributes
- Tenant Comments are shown as positive, negative, or neutral
- Key Performance Indicators with the highest correlation with tenant satisfaction
- The NRES surveyor will provide additional observations as additional background for tenant survey results when applicable
