National Real Estate Standards Corporation (NRESC) is a consulting firm specializing in commercial and corporate real estate management. NRESC was founded in 1992 by W. Michael Wayman after serving in executive and senior property management positions with the nation’s leading commercial real estate developers and owners.

Mr. Wayman earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Auburn University and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Alabama Birmingham. He also achieved a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.

Additionally, for over 20 years Mr. Wayman has volunteered for a not for profit organization, International Micro Enterprise Development, Inc. to train, fund, and coach entrepreneurs in third and fourth world countries. Some of the countries have included Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Indonesia, Nepal, India, and Myanmar.

On-site NRESC surveyors are former property managers and asset managers with leading owners and management companies. Each NRESC surveyors has over 30 years of experience. Additional qualification include professional engineer’s license, industry designations of CPM and CCIM, and post graduate degrees.
